Own Your Own Island: Grayson Island sits on the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta at the confluence of the two Rivers located in Sacramento County. The island is a 20-acre private island about 100 feet from Sherman Island. It was previously a family compound with two cabins but has not been visited for over 50 years! The cabins are uninhabitable, but their footprint can be seen. There are remains of a dock and possibly, electricity at one time. Across from Eddo's Marina, one can enjoy fishing, boating and RV camping. The private island is accessible by boat and has gorgeous sunset views of Mt. Diablo. By car, Sherman Island is an hour from San Francisco, or 34 nautical miles by boat, also close to Antioch Bart Station. It is also a windsurfing hot spot!
